I am Thankful :: 2015
Thanksgiving is a few short days away. I will squeeze most of the people who fill my heart with love. And eat more pie than I probably should. And, of course, I will be thankful for this sweet little life of mine. November is always a lovely time of year to open my heart and mind, while reflecting on all the goodness I am most thankful for from the previous year.
I am Thankful for...
My babes. I affectionately call my niece and nephews my babes. Their sweet voices, little hugs, big smiles and genuine kindness fills me up with happiness and adoration. They occupy so much of my heart.
Giving regularly. Having the financial means to give, in so many diverse ways, is truly special. I have yearned to be in such a place for many, many years. And I am extremely thankful to be able to give to my heart's content, and then some.
Tea time. Sipping on a cup of freshly brewed tea is always a treasured part of my day. Tea is always paired with reading, reflecting, sitting still, having a meaningful conversation, waking up, winding down or some other great moment.
Peace and healing. There's so much power and pleasure with each. For me, having a healed heart and peaceful mind over the past, present and future is overwhelming in the best way possible. I LOVE my life, the people who share this journey with me and all the memories formed along the way.
Flexibility. Owning my own companies and having the flexibility to travel, play, visit, catch up and take off as I wish is everything. My entire lifestyle rotates around the ability to be flexible while honoring my commitments, living out my dreams AND paying my bills.
Little moments. Making my littlest nephew burst into giggles. Standing alone in a redwood forest, completely in awe. Laughing hysterically with my mom in Target. Sipping tea with old friends. Snuggling with new babies. Bursting into song while driving in the middle of nowhere. Meeting kind people on the trail. Receiving and giving hugs. Every little moment.
Connecting. The last year has been filled with seeing, hugging and connecting with dear friends from all walks of life. I had NO idea I would see so many friends this year. And I am incredibly thankful for each visit, no matter how many miles I had to drive.
What are you most thankful for, today and always?
